Kaeser Coalescing Filters

Our high quality coalescing filter 9.4878.0, also known as the in-line filter, is a necessary part of the compressed air system. Coalescing filters work by causing the water droplets in the air to coalesce into larger drops, which then fall out of the air-stream and are collected in a drain at the bottom of the filter housing. This in-line filter 9.4878.0 also efficiently separates oil aerosols and mists from compressed air or gas, ensuring clean output. It is designed to maintain a low pressure drop across the filter to minimize energy consumption. It is typically made of pleated media micro-glass fibers.
